Bridge of Children Fundraiser
The Bridge of Children fundraiser was a success!
Thanks to everyone that came out on Saturday,
October 25, 2014 for our fundraiser event! Marjorie Vail, Mrs. New York International,
GPS Mic Tour played a
wonderful set, and we were able to raise some funds to be put toward to buy a van.
The van would help with transportation of the kids and volunteers to and from their
doctors.
The Children Bridge is home to 29 children, age 3-13,
many of whom lost their parents to the earthquake. The orphanage depends on
approximately on donations to cover its operating costs. This includes expenses like food,
electricity, transportation, school supplies, books, medical supplies.
Our primary focus right now is getting the orphanage
the essential funds it needs to keep operating at its best without worry.
