Photos that stick in your memory

The heartbreaking image of the now sonless is comforted by my husband; Sgt. Graham symbolized the residual pain caused by a recent shooting in the city of Philadelphia. I cannot possibly imagine the grief this dad is experiencing and the gun violence need to stop.  

 I thank God every day for protecting us day and night..  As you day after day police officers are asked to step into harms way knowing that every corner they turn could be a reality check with a distraught individual ready and willing to take one’s life. But they do it. Cops do more than enforcing the law. They are husbands/wives, father/mother, brothers/sisters, friends and human beings.
