Don't be afraid to be active. Physical activity should be part of your daily routine. It helps reduce your risk for cardiovascular disease by improving your blood pressure and other risk factors. It can also help you lose weight or stay at your ideal weight.

Aim for at least 40 minutes of moderate-to-vigorous physical activity three to four times per week.  It's best practice to consult with your healthcare provider to develop a physical activity plan that is right for you if you have a chronic condition.
